To keep Civlso useful and fair, you agree not to do the following.
Study and exam integrity
- Use the Service to cheat on a live, proctored, or graded exam, or in any way that violates your institution's academic-integrity rules. Civlso is built to help you learn the material, not to take a test for you.
- Post, share, sell or ask for questions or other content from a real FE or licensing exam you have taken, anywhere in Civlso (Collaborate rooms, notes, support messages, research or debrief reports). Exam content is confidential under the exam provider's rules. Describe weak areas in your own words instead.
- Present Civlso's simulations, solutions or Coach feedback as official exam material, or hand in Civlso's worked solutions as your own graded work where that is not allowed.
Accounts, access and usage
- Share, resell, or transfer your account or paid access against these terms.
- Create extra accounts to get more free allowance, rewards or free subject picks, or use scripts or bots to earn rewards, send learning events or check answers.
- Copy, scrape, or redistribute the problem sets, solutions, videos or other content, or try to pull answer keys or protected content out of the Service.
- Reverse engineer, attack, or attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, usage metering or billing.
Collaborate rooms and chat
- Upload unlawful, harmful, or abusive content in collaborative features.
- Harass, threaten, bully or demean anyone, or post hateful, sexual or violent content, including in drawings, stamps and sticky notes.
- Spam, post unwanted links or advertising, or flood a board or chat.
- Post someone else's personal information, impersonate another person, or pretend to be Civlso staff.
- Post room codes publicly, join rooms you were not invited to, or come back after a host removed you.
- Send false or bad-faith reports.
Files, research and plugins
- Open, import or present files (for example CSV data, documents, decks or images) that you do not have the right to use, that contain malware, or that include other people's personal information without permission.
- Make up data, results or citations in Research Studio and present them as real, or ignore your institution's rules on citing sources and using study tools.
- Try to break out of a plugin's sandbox, misuse plugin storage, or use plugins to get around metering or access controls.
Support
- Send abusive messages to Support, or use Support to send spam.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate this policy. Suspensions can be for a set time. To report a problem, use the Report button in a room or contact Support. Questions: help@denadlabs.com.
